Louvre Museum - Abu Dhabi

We spent a lovely day driving over to Abu Dhabi with some close family friends and visiting Louvre Museum branch which recently opened in UAE.

It's very well laid out - be it the galleries, gardens or its famous webbed ceiling which allows the sun to filter through. The museum is actually on Saadiyat island and was designed by a french architect Jean Nouvel. It's one of the largest museums on the Arabian peninsula. Tickets are available online.

Some photographic fun at the museum. A walk through history of mankind - truly a humbling experience and a wonderful learning opportunity. Thank you Uncle S and Aunty S :)
