Waiting for a Sunny San Mateo!!

San Mateo July 2011

End of July 2011 saw me head across the Indian and Pacific oceans to the famous US of A.
San Mateo (for St. Mathew) is a suburb of the mighty San Francisco. It's a beautiful city which from time to time is hidden in the most vile fog.

This is an attempt on an old duppatta cut up & converted to a TV cover. One side has applique work and the other is fabric painting - spot the difference ;-)

Last one was attempted when taking a break from channel surfing ....!

Monsoon magic at Malshej

July - Aug 2009....
Drive to Malshej from Nerul....day trip....essentials - sandwiches, juice and wind cheaters....one of the first few splendid road trips in our Swifty. (no boating this time, thankfully)......

some memories of an enchanting time spent with nature at its best!!
